BISMILLAHHH NOOOOOOOOO. this comic is basically just an illustration of Bohemian Rhapsody.

Next (p.40)
First

"In the older mythology, marriage with the Mother Goddess had often represented the supreme enlightenment and the climax of a hero's quest, but Gilgamesh turns Ishtar down. Gilgamesh does not see civilization as a divine enterprise. Ishtar is a destroyer of culture: she is like a water skin that soaks its carrier, a shoe that pinches its wearer, and a door that cannot keep out the wind. None of her relationships has lasted; she has ruined each one of her lovers. Mortals are better off without these destructive encounters with irresponsible gods." -armstrong,  a history of myth

I misread/assumed, apologies - the character I meant was the feline creature, however, upon closer inspection Nico too, does interest me.

Thank you! I'm really glad that the colors and patterns are coming together, I still have a lot of work to do, but it's a lot of fun to make. A very old tradition. If you do decide to read it, I hope you enjoy it! I feel like Merr (the cat creature) might have some aspects that appeal to you, haha.

Merr is already displaying aspects that appeal to me greatly! I do see that there is a trickster element to her, the mythological character archetype you favour - correct me if I am incorrect.

I adore the layout of this page, the complex patterns and the use of blue. Absolutely adore it. I am interested in this Nico character. I suppose I'll have to read from the beginning to understand their motives and personality.

Lots of Persian and Arabic influence on this page, too.
